Travel Spark Revenue Desk

A senior revenue-management function without another full-time hire.

Travel Spark manages the commercial rhythm behind room revenue: pickup, pace, pricing, restrictions, forecasting, channel performance and owner reporting. Built for independent hotels and small portfolios.

One accountable desk

Revenue decisions made and followed through.

The service creates a consistent decision rhythm across the systems and channels the hotel already uses.

Daily commercial control

Weekday review of pickup, pace, demand, pricing, inventory and restrictions, with decisions recorded in a controlled change log.

Forward revenue view

A rolling 90-day forecast, demand calendar, peak-date priorities and clear action plan for the next trading periods.

Channel performance

Direct, OTA and wholesale rate checks, channel-mix review, parity monitoring and escalation of distribution leakage.

System execution

Practical work across the hotel's existing PMS, channel manager, OTA extranets and revenue tools, within agreed access and authority.

A weekly revenue rhythm

A focused weekly revenue meeting, concise action list and one accountable external commercial lead.

Owner visibility

A monthly scorecard covering pace, forecast, pricing decisions, channel issues, actions taken and the priorities ahead.

90-day Revenue Desk engagement

A simple commercial starting point.

New properties begin with a fixed 90-day engagement. The initial baseline and action plan are completed in the first 10 business days.

First 10 business days

Establish control, then improve performance.

1. Commercial baseline

Review current pace, forecast, pricing, restrictions, room and rate structure, channel mix, system flow and owner priorities.

2. Operating framework

Agree access, change authority, approval rules, reporting, meetings and escalation routes.

3. Initial action plan

Set the 90-day forecast, demand calendar, priority dates, pricing actions and distribution fixes.

Current engagement

Commercial control after a hotel acquisition.

An independent regional hotel engaged Travel Spark following a change of ownership. The inherited setup showed signs that rates, inventory and booking conditions were not always flowing consistently between the PMS, channel manager, revenue tool and public channels.

The work traced a live distribution incident, mapped the commercial system flow, reconciled room and rate structures, reviewed inherited settings and contracts, and established a takeover control list. This is an active engagement, so no revenue-uplift claim is made.

Frequently asked questions

Clear scope and decision rights.

Who is the Revenue Desk designed for?

Independent hotels and small groups that need consistent revenue-management capability without adding a full-time senior hire. The standard scope is designed for properties with up to 100 rooms; larger hotels and portfolios are quoted separately.

Do you replace our PMS or channel manager?

No. The Revenue Desk works through the hotel's existing systems. The setup review identifies configuration, mapping or data-flow issues that need attention.

Who approves rate and restriction changes?

Decision rights are agreed during setup. Travel Spark can implement routine changes within an approved framework. Material changes remain subject to written owner or general-manager approval.

How quickly can we start?

The setup begins once the proposal is accepted, the initial invoice is paid and system access is available. The initial commercial baseline and 90-day action plan are completed within the first 10 business days.

What is outside scope?

The standard service excludes reservations, paid media, website management, legal contract review and 24-hour operational coverage. Additional commercial projects can be separately scoped.
